A CONFERENCE DEVOTED TO THE DISCUSSION OF MUSICAL NOTATION
Here is an exciting conference recently advertised which is going to be held at Wesleyan University in April 2013.

Much like Off the Staves (Bangor, 2010), this conference will bring together musicologists, performers and composers. However, the objective for this festival-conference is to 'consider the nature of notation in the early 21st century'.
The Vocal Constructivists will also be a part of the festival and explore methods of interpreting notation through vocal productions of sound.
Ideas exchanged from this festival-conference will surely invite provocative inquiries and discussions.
